Depending on your role and enabled features, the App may process:
- Account and employee profile information such as name, employee code, designation, department, reporting manager, contact details, and login identifiers.
- Attendance information including check-in/check-out time, attendance status, regularization requests, and location data used for geofenced attendance verification.
- Leave, travel, claims, payslip, notification, sales lead, client contact, and workflow information submitted through the App.
- Device and technical information such as device type, IP address, app version, crash/error information, and authentication/session data.
- Uploaded files or images, including documents, leave attachments, business card scans, or contact images where the user chooses to submit them.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only for legitimate internal business and employment-related purposes, including:
- Managing attendance, leave, payroll, approvals, workflows, and employee services.
- Supporting project, sales, document delivery, recruitment, and management reporting workflows.
- Verifying geofenced attendance and preventing unauthorized or inaccurate punch activity.
- Sending work-related notifications and maintaining operational records.
- Securing the App, troubleshooting issues, preventing misuse, and improving App reliability.
3. Location Data
The App may collect precise or approximate location data when attendance punch features are used. Location is used to show the user's live position, compare it with permitted geofence locations, and determine whether check-in/check-out is allowed. Location data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
4. Camera, Files, and Media
Camera and file permissions are used only when a user chooses to capture or upload documents, leave attachments, claim documents, or business card/contact images. Uploaded content is stored for the related workplace process and may be visible to authorized personnel.
5. Sharing and Access
Information in EMPower is shared only with authorized OEDEC personnel and service providers who need access for HR, payroll, project, sales, approval, IT support, legal, compliance, or business operations. We do not sell employee personal data.
6. Data Retention
Records are retained for as long as required for employment administration, legal compliance, audit, payroll, project delivery, and business recordkeeping. Retention periods may vary based on the type of record and applicable law.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect App data, including authenticated access, role-based authorization, secure transmission, and access monitoring. No system is completely risk-free, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
8. User Rights and Requests
Employees may contact HR or system administration to request correction, review, or assistance regarding their App data, subject to applicable employment policies, legal obligations, and business recordkeeping requirements.
9. Children's Privacy
EMPower is an internal workplace application and is not intended for children or public consumer use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest version.
